The descriptions of each HCW's/PSW’s skills and experience come from the HCW/PSW him or herself, not from the OHCC. The OHCC cannot confirm or verify the experience or skills of the HCWs/PSWs listed on the registry. They have the responsibility for providing training to caregivers and/ or ensuring that the individual has received adequate training and is competent.
Nursing assistants/aides working in licensed and or certified skilled nursing facilities, intermediate care facilities and home health agencies must be certified.
